This modern bed is crafted of Melina solids finished in a warm brown with a border of raffia around an upholstered headboard featuring a flax color fabric. Nickel nail heads outline the fabric. The side rails and footboard also have fields of raffia. Our raffia is hand woven on the island of Bohol in the central Visayas region of the Philippines using the fibers of the Tipot palm tree and features a rich dimensional depth not found in lesser machine woven grass cloth.
