Inspired by a decades old relationship with solid wood, the Traverse collection is our way of letting the craft speak for itself. It begins with Ambrosia Maple which includes beautiful natural character markings that highlight the solid wood nature of the collection. We allow the natural worm holes and their characteristic markings to show through alongside the various grain patterns of the maple. Details such as the box joint where the two solid wood surfaces are connected or more discretely. It doesn’t take a carpenter to appreciate the workmanship in this clever merging of time honored craftsmanship and modern style.
